The latest XLS300 is now fitted with a new loudspeaker that has a lighter weight Polypropylene cone, although lighter than the cone in the original and older XLS10 speaker the new speaker with its Polypropylene cone has a high degree of rigidity that pushes distortion to extreme sound levels. We have been able to keep the small footprint of the previous XLS300 whilst maintaining high output, dynamic powerful bass with very little overhang.

Due to customer demand the new XLS300-DF now incorporates a filter bypass switch that allows the bass management of your AV Processor to manage the bass frequencies for home theatre work leaving the the XLS300's built in filtering to deal with the bass management on the High Level Input for Hi-Fi use.

Designed and manufactured in the UK the XLS300-DF is a compact and powerful sub woofer. We have used our experience in producing sub woofers for leading brands to offer direct to the public an extremely well designed and built sub woofer at a reasonable cost. Why buy from the low end of other manufactures ranges when you can buy the XLS300-DF  and get performance close to their high end at the low end price?.

The design brief was to manufacture a sub woofer that goes low with plenty of power and the flexibility of connection and control so as to fit into most systems, it also had to be fast and musical. All of this then we squeezed it into a compact 18 Litre cabinet.

The 250mm (10") loudspeaker has a wide rubber surround to allow the speaker to have an extended piston stroke to move lots of air and coupled with the Polypropylene cone that is light an ridged gives the XLS300 powerful dynamic bass that has great timing and accuracy
